System Characteristics
A general model system is the input, process, and output. This is the concept of a system that is simple because a system has characteristics and attributes particular, a narrative that can be said as a system (Analysis of Information Systems, Tata Sutabri S cereal bowl, Andi, 2004: 12). The characteristics are as follows:
- Component (Component) A system consisting of a number of components that work together each form a unity. Component system can be a sub system. Each sub-system has the nature of the system that runs a specific function and influence the system as a whole.
- Limitation System (Boundary) The scope is the system that limit the system with another system or systems with the outside environment .. Restriction system is seen as one entity that can not be separate-separate.
- External Environment System (Environtment) Any form that is outside the scope or limits of the system that affect the operation. Environment outside the system can be profitable and can also harm the system. Environment outside the scope of the system is the limit between the system with another system or systems with the outside environment. Restriction system is seen as one entity that can not be separate-separate.
- Contact Systems (Interface) Media system which connects with the other sub-system is called with the system or interface. Contact this the flow of resources from one sub-system through the connector. Thus, one can happen that the integrity of the system form a unity.
- System Input (Output) Energy entered into the system input system that can be a maintenance (predictive maintenance) and signal (input signal). Example of a unit in the computer system. "Program" is a predictive maintenance is used as input to operate the computer and "Data" is the input signal is processed into information.
- System Output (Output) Results of energy and processed diklasisifikasikan into a useful output. Exodus is part of another sub-system.
- Processing System (Process) A system can have a process of change will be input into output. Sample accounting system. This system will process the transaction data into reports that are required by the management.
- Target System (Objective) A system has goals and objectives and that is deterministic. If a system does not have a target, then the operating system does not have to use. Said a successful system if the target or goal that has been planned.
